Mike Yocum began his career as an auto mechanic in 1980, learning the trade hands on and refining his skills over the next four decades. He got his start when a local independent shop owner gave him an opportunity, then went on to spend 14 years at a dealership where he gained advanced training in computer systems and vehicle diagnostics.

Although Mike spent 17 years living and working in Montana, he always felt drawn back to the lakes region of Minnesota. Year after year, the pull to return home grew stronger. Eventually, he made the move back to Perham and joined a local repair shop. It did not take long for him to realize he was exactly where he was meant to be. In 1996, he purchased the shop and made it his own. Now, nearly four decades after first entering the industry, Mike continues to do the work he enjoys in the community he cares about, serving customers he truly values. As he often says, the journey may have taken time, but every step led him to where he belongs.
